The results are in! The UK City Quality of Life Guide for 2024 and here’s how Manchester faired.

 

According to the survey, 71% of people working in Manchester are happy with their work-life balance, but what else makes the city stand out to those who may be willing to relocate?

This is why it’s the second most attractive city to those who are willing to locate (just behind London). Manchester’s average salary in 2024 is £37,500, compared to 2022 where it was £33.6k. In 2024 there are over 841,000 vacancies in July and September, and 1,122,000 job vacancies in the previous year in Manchester.
